Children's Programs
Kids Art and Craft Sessions
Children who have seizure disorders, along with their siblings, are invited to come to the Epilepsy Support Centre for art sessions that take place once a month. We promise a safe and supervised environment for these children and encourage all parents to take this opportunity to have a few hours to themselves. The centre will also provide dinner for the children attending. Please be aware that your children will be painting and getting messy, so do not drop them off in their best clothes. Art and craft sessions run at the same time as the parent support group.Wacky Wednesdays Summer Camp
The seizure summer camp is one of the Epilepsy Support Centre’s most successful children’s programs and its popularity continues to grow each year. The centre has designed a children’s camp that caters to the specific needs of children who have seizure disorders. We also encourage parents to bring siblings of children who will be attending the camp. Campers between 4-12 years of age are welcome to attend and one-on-one supervision will be provided for children who require special attention. All summer day camps will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm every Wednesday starting in July and concluding late August. Planned activities always include: Visits to the Splash Pads, Happy Hills and Storybooks Gardens. For more information, or to register your child, please call the Epilepsy Support Centre at (519) 433-4073.A special thanks to our sponsors:
