On Thursday, May 19th, we will be hosting the first annual Rick Berg Invitational Golf Tournament at Forest City National Golf Club in London, Ontario. 
We’re looking forward to an exciting sold out event! This inaugural tournament is being held first and foremost in honour and memory of our beloved friend and colleague Rick Berg – who was taken from us far too soon last April. We have also partnered with the Epilepsy Support Centre and would like to promote the work of SUDEP Aware of Toronto (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy Patients) to raise awareness for epilepsy.Proceeds from this inaugural year will be donated to the Epilepsy Support Centre. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help the Epilepsy Support Centre buy their first home. The Epilepsy Support Centre provides support services and education programs throughout the London and southwestern Ontario communities to help persons living with seizures in our community. Amazingly 10% of the population WILL have a seizure at some point in their lifetime. We are really excited to announce that if we are successful in our fund raising efforts, the new home of the Epilepsy Support Centre will be named the "Rick Berg House" as a living legacy to his memory and life. You or your business has the opportunity to be a title sponsor of the event, or you could also choose to sponsor a hole, lunch, dinner, carts or donate an item for our live or silent auctions. A list of sponsorship opportunities is attached. We ask that you review these suggestions and decide how you would like to help. One of our committee members will contact you personally to discuss how we can best feature your business in our promotions. The evening dinner following golf will be open to non-golfers and will be attended by many friends, colleagues and peers from 3M Canada and the Automotive Aftermarket industry in Ontario. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to highlight your business to over 200 guests and receive industry coverage through Collision Repair Magazine and the Epilepsy Support Center website and newsletter.
